MEET ERIK S. In early March of 2018, Erik received a medical wake-up call when he found out that he needed to be medicated for high blood pressure and cholesterol. He began his journey by logging his meals, but needed that extra push from a personal trainer to break through his first plateau.
Erik’s trainer at Onelife Fitness guided him through the basics of weight training and helped him become more proficient as his technique and strength improved. He’s also added in three spin classes per week for HIIT training. Now he’s no longer on medication.
